Marcia Gay Harden joins "The Invisible"

Marcia Gay Harden has joined the cast of supernatural drama Invisible for Touchstone Pictures and Spyglass Entertainment, reports Variety.
She joins Justin Chatwin, Margarita Levieva and Chris Marquette in the film, directed by Batman Begins screenwriter David S. Goyer.
Invisible is based on a Swedish supernatural thriller. Mick Davis wrote the original screenplay in English before it was translated to Swedish. Christine Roum revised the script for Spyglass.
Chatwin will play a young man who is attacked and left for dead, then finds himself in limbo,
invisible to the living and racing against time to find his body before he truly perishes. The
only person who may be able to save him is his attacker, a troubled girl (Levieva) on the run
from the law.
Marcia to guest-star on "Law & Order Special Victims Unit"

US broadcaster NBC has announced that its drama show Law & Order brand will celebrate its 600th
combined episode next month. On the heels of its sixth and highest-rated season to date Law &
Order: Special Victims Unit returns on 20 September. With a succession of episodes touching on
hot-button social issues SVU features an array of guest stars including Marcia Gay Harden,
Lynda Carter, Mary Stuart Masterson and Teri Garr.

Harden's "Hoax" appearance confirmed

As it was previously mentioned by the Hollywood Reporter, Marcia has been now spotted on the
set of "Hoax", so her appearance as Richard Gere's wife Edith Irving is official :-) The movie

Marcia to lend her voice to "Willa Cather"

"O Pioneers!", "The Song of the Lark" and the Pulitzer Prize-winning "One of Ours". The film
premieres on PBS Wednesday, September 7, 2005. Actor David Strathairn narrates. Actress Marcia Gay Harden is the voice

Marcia Gay Harden to play First Lady in "American Dreamz"

According to the Hollywood Reporter,
Oscar-winning actress Marcia Gay Harden has joined writer/director Paul Weitz's American
Dreamz at Universal Pictures. Harden will play the first lady opposite Dennis Quaid's
president. Already cast are Hugh Grant, Richard Dreyfuss, Willem Dafoe and Mandy Moore. Weitz
is producing with his brother Chris Weitz and their producing partner Andrew Miano through
their Depth of Field production company. Dafoe will play the role of vice president Sutter in
the film, described as a satire of American politics and show business.
"Felicity" to be released this November

"Felicity: An American Girl Adventures", The WB Network's second original television movie
based on the popular American Girl characters will premiere on Tuesday, November 29
(8:00-10:00 p.m. ET), it was announced by David Janollari, President, Entertainment, The WB.
As with the first movie in the American Girl series, The WB has partnered with executive
producer Julia Roberts, Revolution Studios, Red Om Films, and American Girl, Inc. in
association with Warner Bros. Television Production Inc. to produce "Felicity".
The film stars Marcia Gay Harden, John Schneider and Shailene Woodley.

Marcia mentioned to star in "The Hoax"

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Walt Disney Studios has picked up domestic distribution
rights to director Lasse Hallstrom's upcoming drama "Hoax." The deal was announced Wednesday
by Bob Yari, principal and founder of the Yari Film Group. The film, starring Richard Gere,
centers on Clifford Irving, who wrote a bogus biography of Howard Hughes and sold it to
McGraw-Hill in the early '70s. Alfred Molina will play Richard Suskind, Irving's accomplice in
pulling off the media hoax, while Marcia Gay Harden will star as Irving's wife, Edith.

Marcia Gay Harden and John Goodman have joined the star-studded cast of a special reading of two
plays. "Theater of the New Ear" will feature performances - which will be taped for later broadcast
on satellite radio - in New York City on 28-30 April (05). Harden and Goodman will join
Steve Buscemi, Hope Davis, Peter Dinklage, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Brooke Smith and Meryl Streep in
a reading of "Sawbones" by film-makers Joel and Ethan Coen and "Hope leaves the Theater", by Charlie
Kaufman. The performances will be accompanied by a eight-piece band.

Harden to make Philharmonic debut

Oscar-winning actress Marcia Gay Harden is taking to the stage this month to make her
New York Philharmonic debut. The "Pollock" star is among the ensemble cast performing a semi-staged
version of Mendelsshohn's complete incidental music to Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream".
The Philharmonic performances at Lincoln Center's Avery Fisher Hall in Manhattan are scheduled for
tomorrow (17 March 2005), Saturday (19 March 2005) and Tuesday (22 March 2005).
