Marcia's latest film, the drama "Mona Lisa Smile", will be released on DVD in the USA
on March 24. Julia Roberts plays an inspiring art history teacher, circa 1953, who trades
in the bohemian freedom of Berkeley for a crack at Wellesley's future corporate wives.
The supporting cast is a roll call of talent: Kirsten Dunst, Julia Stiles, Maggie
Gyllenhaal, Ginnifer Goodwin, Juliet Stevenson, Marcia Gay Harden. Hard to believe
Wellesley was ever so backward, but the movie succeeds in giving the sense of big changes
during a crucial school year. DVD special features include featurettes "College Then and
Now" and "What Women Wanted: 1953", music video and cast & crew interviews.
