"American Gun" to world-premiere at Toronto Film Festival

Marcia's upcoming drama, "American Gun", co-starring Donald Sutherland and Forest Withaker,
will have its world-premiere at the Toronto Film Festival. An exact schedule should be
announced the next days on the festival's

Hallström's "Hoax" opposite Richard Gere and Hope Davis. Visit the

I just realized there are NO screencaps of Marcia's Oscar win in 2001.
Until now :-) Visit the Image Library to view them. I'll have a look

WB has opened the Official Website
for "Felicity: An American Girl Adventure", including a first picture of Marcia, a
trailer should be coming soon. The movie premieres this November.

Marcia to lend "Willa Cather" her voice

American Masters presents "Willa Cather: The Road Is All", the story of the famous author of
"O Pioneers!", "The Song of the Lark" and the Pulitzer Prize-winning "One of Ours". The film
premieres on PBS Wednesday, September 7,
2005. Actor David Strathairn narrates. Actress Marcia Gay Harden is the voice

Hallmark Entertainment has updated its website with promotional stills of Marcia's upcoming television
drama "In From the Night". Find 90 (!) stills of Marcia in the Image Library and
visit the Career Section for more information on the film. An exact release date
is not yet given, but its said to release this year.

Marcia Gay Harden set to play First Lady

According to the Hollywood Reporter,
Oscar-winning actress Marcia Gay Harden has joined writer/director Paul Weitz's American
Dreamz at Universal Pictures. Harden will play the first lady opposite Dennis Quaid's
president. Already cast are Hugh Grant, Richard Dreyfuss, Willem Dafoe and Mandy Moore. Weitz
is producing with his brother Chris Weitz and their producing partner Andrew Miano through
their Depth of Field production company. Dafoe will play the role of vice president Sutter in
the film, described as a satire of American politics and show business.
