Production news on upcoming "Home" Posted: 2006-09-17 Marcia Gay Harden had never been to Lancaster County until last month, when she made a movie there. Upon seeing the picturesque countryside, the Academy Award-winning actress saw right away why the area -- which has been a backdrop for such movies as "Witness," "Girl, Interrupted" and "The Boys from Brazil" -- is a popular filming location. "I found the area beautiful," said Harden, whose performance in "Pollock" earned her an Oscar for best supporting actress. "The scenery, the country, the farmhouses," she said. "It has almost every type of scenery available, making it a rich and versatile location." Harden said her real-life relationship with her daughter helped the onscreen chemistry between them. "Eulala and I have such a deep mother-daughter bond, and playing opposite each other only strengthens that," she said.
