December 2007 Marcia and "Into the Wild" cast receive SAG nomination Posted: 2007-12-20 Congratulations to Marcia and the cast of "Into the Wild" for receiving a Screen Actors Guild Award nomination in the category of Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture. "Into the Wild" received further nominations for Male Lead (Emile Hirsch), Male Supporting (Hal Holbrook) and Female Supporting (Catherine Keener). The awards will be handed out on January 27, 2008. This is Marcia's second Ensemble nod, she was previously nominated with the "Mystic River" actors. Wresting with Angels: Playwright Tony Kushner on PBS Posted: 2007-12-10 Wrestling With Angels: Playwright Tony Kushner, the documentary by Oscar-winning director Freida Lee Mock, will be broadcast on the PBS series P.O.V. at 9pm on Wednesday, December 12. The film focuses on the life of Kushner, who talks about his childhood, his relationship with his parents, and his work as a playwright. The documentary includes extended performances and readings from Kushner's many plays and musicals, including Angels in America, Homebody/Kabul, and Caroline, or Change, along with appearances and commentary by Meryl Streep, Marcia Gay Harden, Mike Nichols, Emma Thompson, Tonya Pinkins, George C.
