Marcia receives Saturn Award nomination

Marcia has received a nomination for the Saturn Award in the category of Best Supporting Actress for her performance in "The Mist". She shares the category with Lizzy Caplan (Cloverfield), Lena Headey (300), Rose McGowan (Grindhouse – Planet Terror), Michelle Pfeiffer (Stardust) and Imelda Staunton (Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix). "The Mist" has received two more nominations for Best Horror Movie and Best Director. The Saturn Awards will be handed out on June 24th.

Sinatra mini-series comes to DVD

Frank Sinatra, was among the top greatest entertainers this world has ever seen, and even before his death in 1998 the man's life story was the focus of curiosity by many fans and admirers. In 1992 his daughter, Tina Sinatra, Executive Produced a 4-part mini-series simply called "Sinatra", and Warner Home Video has announced that they are bringing that production to DVD. The release date will be May 13, 2008 ...the day prior to the 10 year anniversary of Frank's death at age 82. In the mini-series, Marcia had her first big role on television, playing Ava Gardner.

Rails & Ties releases on DVD, June 17

On a beautiful stretch of California coastline, a suicidal mother parks her car on a railroad crossing and awaits the arrival of a speeding train, the sleek and unstoppable Coastal Starlight. Screening of "Canvas" with Q&A at Avon

The Avon Theater Film Center presents a special screening of the film Canvas on February 05, followed by a Q&A with co-stars Joe Pantoliano and Marcia Gay Harden, and director Joseph Greco. The evening is a benefit for Stamford's Laurel House, a community association supporting people with mental illness. The evening includes cocktails at 6:30 PM. The film begins at 7:30 PM.
