Damages will pick up with the turbulent life of Patty Hewes (Glenn Close), pondering her next move. William Hurt joins the cast as Daniel Purcell, a man from Patty's mysterious past who will launch her into a new legal challenge. Shelley Foundation featured reading Posted: 2008-11-11 The Adrienne Shelly Foundation fundraiser gala will feature a reading of the late "Waitress" helmer’s script "The O Letters", a satire about a series of five letters read at a women's conference in the year 4046. Reading will feature Cheryl Hines, Keri Russell, Ally Sheedy and Lili Taylor. Gala will also include performances and appearances by Paul Rudd, Marcia Gay Harden, and Michael Cerveris. Shelly, who was murdered in 2006, penned upcoming pic "Serious Moonlight" before she died. Gala will take place Nov. 17 at NYU’s Skirball Center. DogCatemy Celebrity Gala and Motion Picture Club's Award Luncheon Posted: 2008-11-07 Yesterday, Marcia has been busy attending two events - first, she was seen at the North Shore Animal League America's 2008 DogCatemy Celebrity Gala in New York. Later that day she joined her "Pollock" director and co-star Ed Harris on the red carpet of the Motion Picture Club's Award Luncheon, honoring Amy Adams and Richard Jenkins as its stars of the year.
